I have spent the last 5 years of my life trying to get back in shape after having my son. I have joined every weight loss program you can think of, spent thousands of dollars, but none of them worked. I would lose 5-10 pounds, but it would come right back. I was constantly up and down and each time I gained the weight back, I would gain extra until it got to the point that my health was suffering. My cholesterol was off the charts, my blood pressure was starting to increase, and my heart rate was horrible.
My son is now 7 years old and loves to play basketball. The day he said "mommy, why do you have to rest all the time when we play?" is the day I decided that I had to do some research and find a program that actually worked this time. My first step was to pray for an answer. I listen to WDJC everyday to and from work and I kept hearing the advertisement for Advanced Weight Loss. God laid it on my heart very heavily to go talk to them. After a month of questioning it and researching it, I decided to take that first step. First, I had to kick one of my biggest habits so I made a conscious decision to take the money I was spending each day for a white chocolate macadamia nut latte and use it towards my goal of weight loss. This is where my journey begins:
I have never seen God answer a prayer as quickly as He did this one. I started dieting on 11/6/08 but I started the program on 12/4/08. Since the beginning, I have lost 25.2 pounds and 44.25 inches. Since I have been on the program, I have lost 24 lbs and 34.5 inches. The first couple of weeks went great and then, as always, I hit a plateau where I could not get past the 10 pound mark. I was ready to give up. However, the wonderful staff at the Clinic had faith that I could get past it and they suggested I try the Lipo Tabs. My first thought was, "here is another gimmick to earn money and I'll never get past this 10 pound mark." The ladies encouraged me not to give up hope and to trust in God. I prayed and decided to give it 2 more weeks to see how the pills do. I also decided to change my diet and exercise routine. I want everyone out there to know how these 2 weeks changed my life and my outlook on the program as a whole. If anyone doubts that God cares about weight loss, you are absolutely wrong. He cares about your health and is there to help you every step of the way. You just have to ask and trust in Him.
On my first week of taking both the pills and the shots, I lost 4.75 inches and 4.8 pounds. That was the week of Christmas when we all eat more than we should. I thought, "this is too good to be true." The second week I lost 6.25 inches and 1 pound. I have lost more inches than pounds, but I have decided not to focus on the pounds because I have gone from a size 16 to a size 8 in just 8 weeks. I am proud of my "baggy pants." I got 3 bags of clothes down from my attic that I said I would never wear again. I have a whole new wardrobe. I bought a special outfit when I started the program with the goal that I will wear it someday. It has been hanging in my closet since 12/5/08 for me to see everyday. I am proud to say that today, 2/13/09, I am wearing it. People all around me are constantly telling me how good I look and asking me what I am doing. My son's birthday is coming up and the best birthday present that I can give him is a healthy mom who can play basketball with him without having to rest every 5 minutes.
I am a new person now and I want to tell the world about it. I eat better, I exercise regularly, I breathe easier, I sleep better, I pray more frequently, and I am just a happier person all around. I have never had faith in anything before like I do this program. I have to admit thought, it's not easy. You have to eat right, limit your calorie intake and exercise regularly or the program will not meet your expectations. Advanced Weight Loss is just a tool that God uses, but if God blesses it, then it is guaranteed to work. I owe it all to God, the encouragement of the ladies at the Clinic, the advice of the doctors and my will to make my life better for my son. God has truly blessed The Weight Loss Clinic and I pray he blesses each and every one of you reading this testimony as much as he has blessed me.
